Zines laid flat. My favorite view.
started at home a few months ago
delia and kettle
the bells...they live next door
these are characters for a children's book....
trying to motivate my sister
these are tapes for old layout work.
collage and washi tape
more collage and mixed media
and from my time in the japans.
in the middle of the spread is a tip-in of a bank envelope.
i did get some inquiring looks as i went from atm to atm collecting different envelopes.
go on about your business, there's nothing for you here.
inside the tip-in is a red stamp for kanazawa train station on a receipt.
there are stamps stationed all over japan at interesting places.
and the latest.
incorporating some of my granddaughter's early scribbles.
she's quite an artist.
and that's her palette.
work in the small moleskine book.
started at home in pa. preprepped pages for the trip to the japans.
when the babies are in school i get some work in.
first page done on the new art journal
trying to post as i go
emily has definitely influenced my color palette.
detail shows some of the stuff i have been acquiring on my trip.
washi tape, lace tape from the 100 yen store.
brush pens, and a stencil of japanese kanji.
i will be trying to draw more this summer
so...pencil practice with eyes.
so i'm in japan
visiting with the grandchildren
for the summer
i will attempt
to post a bit about
all about the art
first watercolors in a long time
still need some work
and some art journaling
